I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but in my campaign the date is stuck at 1080. My generals age no problem, but no change to the date. I did change the timescale to 0.50 though. Could that be the reason?

As appreciative as I can be that someone would take the time to create such an expansion for us to play, I am dissapointed to find that when I attack the crusading army coming to take Jerusalam from me as I am the Egyptians it always crashes back to desktop with an unspecified error. It seems to do it to anything relating to the crusades or Pope cause even when attacking the Papal states it seems to crash.
But in saying that the graphics seem to run amazingly well now and I can even turn the unit scale up to Huge which I really didn't expect. Any suggestions please?
Where do you get that from please? has any1 else come across these problems?
Hello! Nightbringer and others.. PLS ANSWER MY QUESTION BEFORE I MESS UP THIS MOD!! Well im a noobie to patching but i try to read and follow every details you put here Nightbringer. But I want to know IF Your mod includes that Ultimate AI which says NEW in your mod meaning i dnt have to go to UAI mod website to install it manually to your game.. am i right? Like if I install your Mod it installs automatically the UAI mod also?
Well the only thing im looking for in a mod actually is additional towns compared to the so few towns in vanilla and also to have aggressive Ai who will hire hundreds of soldiers when you attack them instead of just sitting around hiring 1 unit per turn like as if its not in a state of war.
I do hope that your answer will be "YES UAI is included in this mod"![]()

SS 4.1 has vanilla campaign AI (with many bugs fixed).
If you want better campaign AI, go to "Best campaign AI" thread. It's linked from the sticky user contributions threads. It has a comparison of all AIs along with all the files necessary to install them and some instructions on how to do it too.
I think there is some problem with traits. For example, I've never seen gaining or improving battle chivalry/dread line traits, however they are present sometimes when general is "born". Or it was changed intentionally?
Also, what is the general effect of faction leader being chivalrous or dreaded? It seems to affect reputation, but I'm afraid I don't see how the latter affects gameplay.
They can inherit some of dread and chivalry from their fathers. I usually decide upon starting which one I choose and just stick to it.
Chivalry and dread have pretty much the same effects. Of course getting dread (to get it you need to execute, plunder and assassinate) ruins your reputation but if you are fighting everybody, why care. To get chivalry you either release prisoners when they are worth more than 1000f (25% chance or something like that) or go on a crusade.
Of course if you want to release 1000f-worth prisoners you first have to catch them and catching them involves getting "Winning first" trait.
Generally the system of traits is broken by desing and needs to be redone by some mod eventually. I hope Quark will do it. Just like it was done for the RTW: EB mod.
