Add Turin Region and Keep Visconti Faction, please!!

"Is it possible to add Turin/Savoia region west from Milan?"

It's a very hard chance for Milan to move against Savoia or Swizerland (France or HRE)... It would be the castle Milan needs but it would be very hard to take ... But it could belong to France and it could become a bridge to Italy : the Italian campaing would become very funny...

it's just a region... Th Capital could be Chambery or Torino... The region's name: Kingdom of Savoia.

In my opinion is better to keep Visconti Faction than Genoa because Milan conquered Genoa in a second period (and not the opposite). Maybe is possible to change flags and to use Visconti's flag (basiliscus) for first and only Saint George's flag for second.. Milan and Genoa need to start together to keep tha naval force of Genoa and to use it in the campaign.

But if there's only Genoa, and Milan is rebel, the HRE will eat Northern Italy in a second...

Florence would have to be very strong to win even if it's in rebel's hands because it remained indipendent for centuries.

What about Malta and Baleari?

I know that there is a limit of region but they are very important in Mediterranean... especially for sea-republics...

Malta is in the middle of the fight between Christianity and Moors...

Sforza dinasty started in Ducato di Milano in 1441 after the death without male heirs of the last Visconti Duke. Is it possible to use Sforza shields (basiliscus and eagles) for unit of the latest period? (heavy horseman or cannons)

Don't worry, the italian city states will be able to put up quite a fight.

At this point I'm going to be very careful about changing the provinces. I feel italy has enough to represent it's importance.

I can understand that there is a whole Europe and middleEast and everyone wants to see his region full of cities and catles...

Do the best for you and the whole gameplay: you're doing a very good job!! It was only a suggest for a limited area of the map...

But if you find that you can add a region: Savoia or Malta... We live too far to offer you a beer fo Malta... Two beers? Three? A box? (the Italian merchant is taking control within..) Some good red wine boxes from Piemonte and Lombardia and we can go home happy and drunk with Savoia and Malta... ?
