It's their changing diet. They're going from healthy fish to lots of red meat. Basically from a healthy Mediterranean diet to a not so healthy "western" diet.

Australia at #6? I suppose it's mostly applicable to the poorer areas and those who are Greek or Italian then. Nearly all of the kids I go to school with are thin and healthy.

I can't believe it, the UK is taking the bronze medal in the fat league, I thought Germany would be higher then us, the UK has gone from the sick man of Europe to the fat man Europe.
Thinking about it though I’m that surprised, I worked at McDonalds years ago and you only had to look at the type of customers we use to serve, which was mostly single mums with two kids in toe. It’s cheap and convenient to feed your kids crap, and now we are reaping what we sow.

i'm surprised too by this, everyone know the Usa has a big obesity problem (omg 1/3 of population obese??) but Uk, Australia, Greece and Slovakia (wtf i've been here and all the girls were thin) obesity level are a bit a surprise.

Ireland at 13 with 13% can't be true, theres nothing but fat *****es here! Go to a night club and theres alot more than 13% of the people fat dogs heaving around the dancefloor! A Polish friend of mine says alot of the fat asses here would be too ashamed to go out in public if they lived where he's from.
