    Icon1 IDBF 7.03 Unit Tree

    Hi everyone,

I've just completed my first version of the new unit tree for IBFD 7.03.

    Download it here >> http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downl...o=file&id=1515

Please provide any feedback (including anything else you would like to see added to the file!).

    Cheers!

Here is some extra info that OTZ provided me concerning his IBFD 7.03 troop list. Since I am lazy I'm just going to copy and paste the private messages he sent me.

I have a few questions about it though. In the vertical columns at the top of the spreadsheet, there are several 3 letter column headers. All of those column headers have a comment bubble that tells you to what "Resource" and "Settlements" that that column represents. All of them except for 3 column headers. Those would be the CGO, AUX, and * columns. I was just wondering what "Resource" and "Settlements" these columns refer to.

Also did you mean "Region" instead of "Resource" in said commit bubbles?

It's probably been a very long time since you last looked at the spreadsheet that I"m talking about. So here is a link to both posts talking about it.

By Resource, I meant the Hidden Resource that is found within a particular settlement.

    I hope this helps!

Also the whole 5000000+ different troops but only being able to recruit certain ones in certain regions makes since now. So that hidden resource is what tells the various buildings in a region what units they can produce. Like in the vanilla game or some other mods that have elephants and camals. You can only produce those units in regions that have that resource and also only if you have the correct building. That's actually a very ingenious way of getting around having to make 50000+ different buildings each with different troops.
    Cheers.

Yes, that is exactly how it works. There is a limit to the number of hidden resources though - I believe it is about 50.
