i have just finished the game no body left on the map. But the game seems to carry on. The only fraction left is the roman rebels whos capital you cannot take because ships cannot reach the area. Is this correct.

Yes it's correct, they must have an unreacheble city in order to respawn every time one of your settlments rebels! You shouldn't consider that city, you have won!
If you please I would like to see your (zipped) savegame, I never saw the entire map Roman myself...

Isnt it kinda unsatasfying? After all this hard work you won and no cutscene, no big screen congratulating you just one rebel citiy you cant take.

I take it you weren't playing by houserules? Cause unless you played night and day since 6.4 was released, you couldn't finish the entire campaign with houserules so fast.

He blitzed, but I cant figure why he didnt get the Ending, even the vanilla one, after only 10 provinces left you should get the win message.

I did have a movie, but adding the BI options caused the ending to play when it shouldnt have so I removed them long ago.

"only 10 provinces left"? are you just referring to his particular situation? i forget the number, but shouldn't the victory number be around the amount of cities needed to approximately simulate the greatest extent of the real historical roman empire? that should leave quite a few more provinces left unconquered than just 10, no?

I don't know if it will work on mid-campaign, but trying will do no harm!
Anyway I prefer to conquer anything.

I would like to know what difficulty levels hardhouse69 was playing on for campaign and battle, and if he used autocalculate. BTW, I personally cannot accept the claim of a complete SPQR game without a screen shot. It does sound from his comments that he did completed the game under some circumstance though.....
