Default What should I use to recover files?

Last night I accidently deleted a few important folders out of my recycle bin, and now I need to get them back. I've searched through numerous recovery programs, but most of them just recover random system files, pictures, etc.. and some of them even recover things I never even deleted and they never recover what I want to recover. So does anyone know of any good recovery programs I can use?

Try this if you haven't yet, its freeware.

Keeping in mind the more disk activity after the files were deleted, the less the chance of getting them back will be. Windows doesn't actually delete files from the HDD, it just tags them to be overwritten. Sometimes you might only be able to get parts of the file since some have already been overwritten.

Starting a application, playing a game, defragmenting, restarting your PC or even leaving you system idle can result in the files being overwritten.

Firstly don't save any documents to your hard disk or run any programme. The only wirtting to disk you need to do is Document Rescue Pro its not free but I can personally vouch for it effectiveness, its got a colleague of mine out of the brown stuff on more then one occasion.
