    Default Strange things with Seleucids

    Hi all,

I'm playing a Seleucid campaing on 1.9 modswitch and am currently around 200 BC. I managed to take out everybody in Asia and the Ptollies, the last Bactrian city fell a few rounds ago. However, there are two strange issues about the game:

    1) the Seleucids don't seem to have any victory conditions. At least when I open the faction overview, there is no entry under vc. Is it just a missing entry there or will the game continue even if I take the three greek cities I remember from 1.8?

    2) something's wrong with my family. It says I have around 120 family members. But when I open the family tree, it's rather small, showing obviously only one branch of it, around 20-30 people. (Edit: I definitely have more than that)

Furthermore, the Romans and Makedons (allied) get along much too good for my taste. The Romans control the western europe, the Makes eastern europe (I disabled landbridges). They have a common border from Aquileia to the North Sea and noone's left to fight for them on the mainland except eachother, yet they are so very much in love, it seems. Why is that?

Btw, tuning those hypas down was a good idea. They're still deadly but not that uber anymore...

I don't think any of the factions say the Victory Condition, well I don't remember seeing any and I am playing as Pontus. There is always the option to just click new campaign on selucid and see what you need.

And for the family tree did you try scrolling to the right? Because there are usually more family members there(I never realized until I saw the arrow thingy on the bottom).

That means they're active despite being not shown in the overview scroll, right?

Of course I scrolled. I wanted to design an heir and thats when I found out that it only displayed 1/4 of my family.

    Thanks, btw.

Guess I have to find out then. Pella, Athens, Byzantion, if I remember correctly. I'll wait a little to see if the two european superpowers will ever go to war. Besides, I just got able to train my legionaries...

Edit: I tried and I failed. Conquered the regions mentioned in the starting screen, i.e. Pella, Athens, Byzantion. Had way more than 50 regions but no victory message.

Conclusion: The victory conditions for the Seleucids are definitely broken.

if you open descr_victory_conditions it shows all the victory conditions, edit the required 1 and vwala, youve got victory conditions again!

the family tree thing happened to me as britain too, i hadd all of europe and africa and was planing on crudhing the last egyption city that i'de been longing to crudsh for so long, i opened my family tree and all my family members were dead or greyed out with "Abandoned" underneath, if i may add bribred family members dont get added to your family tree unless a family member adopts them and if you adopt some one and the person who adopts them dies there ties with the ruling family are severed
