Gimp easier or confusing?
Okay, I have a couple of unit cards. All of them done by other members. How can I add a unit picture in a small card by using gimp?
Geez I can't upload it here even in imageshack.

Try here for unti cards. Great tutorial. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...highlight=gimp
For skins using Gimp, try here. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...highlight=gimp
Gimp's great. I prefer it to Photoshop and those other expensive packages.
From personal experience, when you take the movie cam shot on which the cards will be based, it's best to choose a custom map setting of 'winter', 'calm' weather, at 'midday' - I find this gives the best lighting, etc. Also, in video options, make sure you have anti-aliasing switiched OFF and the unit quality set on the highest setting (this should all make sense once you read the tutorial). Put everything else on the lowest setting.
