Must have uploaded it wrong. I didn't see a picture, which is why its not in the vote.

I voted Garnier. Nice shot mate! You set that up in the Battle Editor?

Oh this is a tough one!

I think most people vote for Garnier or Crypel just because they're well known and they've built up almost an idol status around them. Personally, I've never liked one of Garniers pictures and Crypel... he's pretty good actually.

All my SPQR pictures are from my campaign. Though, yes, I did deploy specifically for that screenshot that time. After taking the picture, they marched out the gate and slew a few thousand germans.

I was about to post a MTW1 campaign screenshot, when I came across the one I did post. It'd be funny if it won, lol!

I voted for Yaelthecruel. Simply a great picture which creates a eary atmosphere.

PS : People see the well known names and vote for them. Some votes are based on pure friendship or biased towards different people they know well. I think for most, the vote isnt accurate on deciding the best picture.

Why would someone vote for one picture if they liked a different picture more? And how did my name become well known all the sudden.. this is the second week ever that I've gotten more than a couple votes. And also, how could someone become well known if people didn't like their pictures more than others?

My pictures (and crypel's last one) are unique in comparison to most others, because they are from SPQR's epic battles, and mine are unedited. They appeal to a different crowd than the rest I think. Most of the pictures are usually heavily edited M2TW screenshots (which, although I like some of them, most I dislike). I did like Kalos picture this time.

I think the problem may be haveing Rome Total War shots mixed with Medieval 2 shots. Example: say you had a good Rome Total War shot and then you had a good Medieval 2 shot. The graphics of the Medieval 2 shot are much better than thet Rome Total War one so then people would think that the Medieval 2 shot is a better shot. The Roman shot is good and many more Rome Total war fans will vote for it over the Medieval 2 shot.

All im saying it is hard to judge two shots from two differant games. One games shot might look better but the other's shot is even better for that game.

Just my thoughts.(Both shots were nice for those games)

100% agreed because Rome total war affected many people and they seems missing our Images [65,64,66 gonna win 3 of them are rome] pics i would suggest separate the Screen shot competition like rome total war and medieval 2 total war

I actually agree,

At first I thought, why is a Rome: Total War™ picture doing in a Medieval 2: Total War™ Thread? I had no problem, I thought it was cool, didn't really care.

Though I would like to see these two game to be diverse. NOT because players might be bias toward another game. But to truly appreciated the artistic abilities of the Total War Community members.

PotW is a general total war competition, its never been specific to M2TW. If you look in the earlier threads, all the pictures will be from RTW. The only reason it was moved to the M2TW section from the coliseum, was to get more people to look at it, since very few people go to the coliseum.

And finally, remember that even if everyone voted for one picture, this does not mean the other ones are far worse than it, it just means everyone liked the one picture at least a tiny bit more than the others. Perhaps we should allow multiple votes one week to see how it goes, say only vote for your favourite 3 or something.
