overall yes except for a few things.
1. the framerate need some work
2. The annoying sci-fi effects like when you target a person and he get that white stripes after him when he movies.
Now the first one will probably be gone when released but the 2nd one seem like it's suppose to be like that

Gamespy has a preview up on it. (I'd link to it...but I'm lazy).
The combat is still not right in the game, but hopefully it will be fine tuned for release.
They better not rush this game, if they do, I will personally take a windows Vista cd, dust it off, turn it sideways, and stick it straight up Bill Gates Candy ass.

Surprise winner of E3 2007:


Sony.

I know, I know.

Nintendo showed nothing new, except for Mario Kart (that looks like it might be worse than Double Dash), and Wii Fitness, which isn't my sort of thing.

Microsoft showed...a Mass Effect delay, some odd Halo 3 tidbits, a special edition 360, and.....a thumboard?


Sony showed Home (which is looking better than ever), MGS (again, better than ever), That Superhero Sucker Punch game (wow), and (easily the biggest surprise) Killzone 2 in-game that didn't look terrible!

I'm going to have to chalk this one up to Sony, and I might have to scrounge up 500 bucks this year...

Was impressed by Killzone 2.
Felt very 'Meh' when i saw the new Halo 3 film and MGS4 trailer.

Didn't think much to COD4.
Liked Bioshock and Mass Effect.

In all seriousness it is a shame they have done that as IIRC the Hashshashin were a Muslim sect who used to get high. Do you reckon they will have the old MGS option of sitting down and having a smoke? They really should have had a Muslim man doing the voice over but then would it sell to Americans?

Actually, that annoys me greatly when I'm watching historic movies.

I'm like, these people are supposed to be Ancient Romans or Greeks, they are played by American actors, and they talk like they are from modern day Britain?

This E3 was bad.

Nothing really interesting showed it's head. No new IPs, no good Nintendo info (as in the big three), nothing interesting at all from the MS camp.

Sony won this year, because it's competiters had really bad E3s.

well the reason they delayed Mass Effect till November is obviously to fix all of the persistant bugs and also to have massive sells during the Holiday season because thats when all the 360 exclusives are being released to the public.. but to be honest the special edition 360 wasn't a very interesting thing, with the elite what else is there to add to the 360, maybe the HD drive but i didnt pay attention when Peter Moore explained what was so special about it.

Also MS is now trying to appeal to the mainstream audience and not just to the hardcore gamers now with their new arcade downloadable games and Scene it.

The Halo 3 short was just to show that there are differences between the Single Player and Multi Player..

But to be honest im not very excited for Halo 3 because Mass Effect and Assassins Creed are way to good to pass up. If i want a halo experience i can just keep playing Halo 2

Yeah the graphics were good but the AI and the framerate!

Did anyone see the stage presentation? when Jade Raymond was speaking about how great the crowd AI was? then the player fell down 100 metres into a cart full of hay and no one noticed?
Or when he was barrging into women from about 3 feet away? and after he 'bumped' into them jumped about a metre back? WTF?
Why is there a dumb white glow over every charcter you highlight?

The action looks terrible as well, It looks like a button pressing interactive cutscene. You have to time an enemy thrust and press the button to react....doesn't look good.

I'm so excited by Assassin's Creed. I'm not at Oblivion levels yet, but by release week who knows. This is it though, the game I've been waiting for, the game that takes over my life, in the best and worst way possible. I feel it.

I agree with that.
When your character is making the finishing move, the enemy doesn't attack you. Why?
It's when your most vulnerable!

You guys are forgetting Splinter Cell: Conviction as another exclusive for Xbox 360. Looks pretty good.
