    Default Siege AI

I've got a few problems with the AI that i noticed. When the enemy army starts to rout they start running away (going good until now...) but as soon as they lost their fear and are ready to fight again, they stop running away (still good). But instead of fighting again, regrouping, or whatsoever. They just stand there. I've had a couple of sieges where i had to go out of my castle and kill those squads that are braindead. (they don't even fight me when i attack them!).

Another problem i found (its related to the other one) also happens with units routing. This time the unit also stops, but instead of doing nothing, it stands there and i constantly hear MOVE FORWARD (like when you give a command to a squad). But really over and over again. So i kill them to...

A third problem is: they have never used any archers against me (yet?) in siege.

    WaZaaa!!!

Not replyin coz I experienced the same prob as you did, Moobke, but just wondering if Torn would consider implementing GrandViZ's Ultimate Battle AI 1.1 to his awrsome upcoming TLR v2.1.0 coz it really seems attractive and accordingly may well fix such problems faced when sieging... :hmmm: Then again, as Torn pointed out in the "Darth" thread, the AI shall be tweaked as appropriate hopefully

    Just a thought really

Ultimate AI is a strategic AI. He doesn't focus on Battle AI.

GrandViZ has also recently made a separate one as well for battle AI though, "Ultimate Battle AI 1.1". Here's the link:

You can have a look at it if there are any significant negatives in TLR sieges coz accordingly UBAI 1.1 can minimize them :hmmm: It's probably similar to the DarthMod except perhaps without some silly stuffs But never tried it and don't have any complaints so far with regards to TLR v2.0.0 siege battles so don't ask me

Really, leatherface? I think maybe I'll give UBAI 1.1 I try as well... If it's tight, I'll probably recommend it to Tornnight just to improve the level of challenge in battles to complement his awrsome campaign AI...

Ok, Torn, don't think you should use UBAI 1.1... Just downloaded it and installed it as instructed, however, tried loading TLR v2.0.0 but the mod didn't manage to load past the first loading screen and now I'll have to install the mod again... or I can wait till v2.1.0 is released... I thought it was coz I've lately downloaded Spy Sweeper and had it running but even with the program off TLR can't run... Even when Spy Sweeper's running, I managed to play a battle in both M2TW vanilla as well as a BI mod

    Well, just so you'd know...

Well battle AI needs to be handled with ^^

    1. They can't win, even on very hard and with a better army they suck.
    2. The weird bugs i told you about.

You can't use all the parts. That definately wont work.

However, I am going to use certain parts of it. GrandViz always does good work.

Good decision, Torn! Now looking forward to not only an enhanced campaign AI but also a hopefully more challenging battle AI
