Scripting problem checking unit types

I want to check if a given labeled unit is a roman hastati unit.
Is there a way to do that?I know the label but i need to check rhe type...
please HELP me

i have already tryed UnitType but i don't understand what it does...

here it's my question again.
just like in historical battle a have defined a label that rappresent a unit
in example
label_unit 0 0 0 general
this one will attach the label general to the unit in the army 0.
now i want to check wich type of unit it is.
if i want to check if label general(that rappresent the first unit of the army in this case) is a roman hastati unit,how can i do?
