Cant start the game

When I open the game up, i get to the first loading screen and immediatley go back to desk top.

Any help would be great.

Edit: Whoops, forgot the 1.2 patch. Sorry.

speaking of problems playing the game.
i used the unpacker tool on my folder (im thinking about modding) only problem is, now that ive unpacked everything, i cant play a damm battle, every time i try, i get to the actual battle screen where im greeted by a half black texctured screen and half normal, 1 secound later im errored back to my desktop.....can anybody help me out? id hate to have ta re reinstall the game again. thats just not good, maybe i have to delete a rouge file or something?

Did you delete the two files that the unpacker readme lists as needing to be deleted?

If you've already done that, then you've done all I know to do. Hopefully someone else can help you better.
