if you were a solider in TLR what company and country would you fight for?

me personally i would fight for the English (being a patriot) i would most likely be a lonbowman of some sort, killing french knights 100 yards away or while there stuck in the mud after fallen of there horse with a rusty knife small enough to fit throu there visors and chinks in there armor. the lure is too strong to pass up.

Hard question because my country isn't in the vanilla map but maybe with poland because i admired them in some way.And probably be some knight i think dismounted maybe and fight preferably against hungarians

I would likely choose england since to me it has the most interesting history during the period and after. As for unit, probably longbow since I have taken archery lessons myself or sword and shield knight!

Kingdom of Jerusalem would be my next choice, nothing says experience then joining that nations army (past and present).

I think I'd like to fight for the French. A shiny, strong, totally armored Chivalric knight. Yes, that would be pretty cool... even if there was a really big chance of me dying when I was 27 in a far off land...

In fact, I'm going to make my AAR debut with the French faction when the next release of TLR comes out.

Temperament wise, I'd probably be a Highlands Rabble.
Birthright wise, I'd probably be some nobody of a spearman.

If I had my pick, it'd be an assassin. Faction: Any of the isles of England, Scotland or Ireland. Probably rebel though.

I'm an englishman living in Scotland, and you can just imagine some of the bitter fights they had up here!

But I'd like to think I would have been a man at arms - what's quite funny if any of you have been to the Tower of London - there's a suit of armour on display that was made for the tallest knight ever recorded - he was about 6ft 9 I think. Well I'm 6ft 8 and I stood next to it - I would have loved to have tried it on for size!

hmm...as a knight, i would like to be a polish huszar
as an archer a venetian heavy archer, or scotish royal guard...
as an infantry man, venetian heavy infantry, no doubt about thet

so, overall, venice would by my choise...and no, i'm not italian...

Lol... sorry for off-topic reply but... where are you supposed to talk about politics or religion, if not in a group? Only when you're alone? More than one person can be considered a group. Are such issues only to be discussed in private and in secret? Funny ideas those.

Anyhoo, as for me I'd probably like to be an HRE spearman. Just get in there and mix it up!
