So this...is where the strenght of the Katana fails...

They even laugh after shooting such a beautiful weapon to pieces

Oh well at least some of the bullets shattered with it

it cut some of the bullets in half. You'll see it when the bullet strikes the blade there is a flash or shimmer when the bullet comes apart. Really does show the strength of the blade.

Don't hold your heads too high. I know the strength of a well made katana, but do you realize how hot that bullet must be. It would splinter on impact of a human body not to mention an edged piece of steel.

I shot a few +- 200 rounds with a .50 at a target 200 meter away from me (it was an abandod car ) and when i checked in there was not much left of that car.
By the way .It is normally forbidden to shoot with a .50 on humans

Ahhh, what a waste of a precious weapon.
I hate guns, because you can kill someone by range without fighting him.
    Thats not the warriors weapon.

If the Ottoman never used guns, we the arab empire will still live.

Dying with a sword is honor, Dying with a gun is child.

Even some of the bullets were shatered.

Geneva states you cannot engage personnel with a .50cal machine gun

You CAN engage equipment, therefore...a side arm is equipment just as a canteen or a helmet is equipment...

Quite right. In Iraq and Afghanistan, the enemy is engaged with the Barrett M-107, which is a .50-cal sniper weapon. The purpose is to hit the enemy in center-of-mass and literally rip his body in half. If there are any other enemies with the first man hit, they usually give up immediately. The Barrett is a psychological weapon, more than a sniper weapon.

Also, the .50-cal has better ridge-to-ridge ability than the standard weapon, in the hills and mountains of Afghanistan.

With a 59-grain .223 sabot-discarding round (in a .30-06 casing), a 12-power scope, and a Winchester Model 70 (which I carried in Vietnam), I could hit a target accurately at ranges up to 2000 meters. So, the power of the .50-cal isn't needed for sniping.
