Building browser problem, ctd

I have just installed rtr platinum edition 1.9 on a clean install of rtw patches 1.3 + 1.5. They appeared to be ok, but when I try viewing all the new units in the building browser playing Roma, the game ctd. The problem only relates to stable and archery range buildings.
Right clicking on the hippodrome shows the following:
- equites roman citizenship
- italian cavalry roman auxilia phase 3

Right clicking on the siege engineer shows the following:
- velites provincial barracks
- funditores provincial barracks
- italian skirmishers roman auxilia phase 2
- ballistas provincial barracks
- scorpions provincial barracks

right clicking on either of the above cause a ctd.
It seems that the only file containing the text "roman auxilia phase 3", is the export_buildings.txt file, and if i change it to "test", it appears on screen. But I cannot figure the problem out.
Any help would be appreciated, as this seems to be a stunning mod.

It has always been like that. I think it has to do with the RTW v1.5 engine and so far nobody managed to find a fix to it. Not that too much time was lost on it either. It is only a sideline thing. Just don`t right click the units in the building browser.
