A system Spec Question

Well i read the min and rec. requirements and have them:

pentium d 3.4ghz
2 gigs of ram
and a 8800GTS

but when i played the first siege battle i was getting like 5 fps with all the settings that were specified

so is there something i should do...

PS sorry if this is asked loads of times its just i like all getting large armies but laggy battles aren't fun

Sounds like a driver issue. but also make sure to Unplug your printers if they are USB items, because alot of boards have issues with drivers and the USB devices. I have a similar system and have no issue like you described which means something is wrong with your system.

Also check for Viruses and also Spyware/malware, also make sure not to have alot of programs running in the background, as well defragging you HD and Rebooting your PC before playing. Clears the memory.

i did all that but it maybe that i was playing a night battle and all the lil lights etc... but it is running alot better now thanks
