    Default Rome Total War Gold Edition Installation

    Whenever I try to reinstall my Rome Total War gold edition it says " An earlier version of Rome Total War has been detected. Please uninstall this before installing Rome Total War Gold Edition." Could someone please tell me how to fix this problem?

    This has happened to me a few times turkeys, if you are completely rid of RTW try restarting your computer and it works

    Aww it still dosent work I tried everything, I did the unistall from the add and remove programs and then deleted the creative assembly folder

    Wow hmmmm, do you have any mods installed or are you completely clean of ALL RTW traces from your PC? If not im sorry but I cant help you

    Oh wait, since it its RTW gold isnt that the pack that comes with MTW and STW? If you have those installed try unistalling them

    Im sure you can figure it out , make sure all the stuff that comes with RTW gold are uninstalled...

    Woot got it to work. Had to use the REGEDIT command and delete the entry.

    Make sure you grab a mod like SPQR or Roma Surrectum
