Install trouble
Greetings, I recently decided to try this mod again. I love the Imperial age of Rome. So I completely uninstalled and reinstalled RTW and reinstalled BI. I upgraded to 1.6. I then create a separate folder for IBFD, next i downloaded the mod and placed it in the folder just for IBFD. Upgrade to the latest patch and start the game. Problem is I can't get past the intro movie. Any help on what I did wrong or what happened would be great.
EDIT: I somehow got past the intro, but it CTDs whenever I scroll west. Same problem I've had in past experiences.

Re: Install trouble
simple. you don't need to create a separate folder, because is the same game who creates it. the game starts because you have called your folder IBFD - but beside of it, the game engine cannot locate the data folder, since inside the IBFD folder there is another "ibfd".
at least, guess it is so.
step to follow:
1- disinstall all. clean register entry if possible.
2- install rtw
3- install BI
4- upgrade to 1.6
5- install IBFD 7
6- (optional but recommended) install soundmod for IBFD 7
7- install IBFD 7.03
8- (optional but recommended) install berseker-soundmod addon for IBFD 7.03.
9- play and enjoy !!

Re: Install trouble
I uninstalled everything and reinstalled it all so it has to be clean.
The problem I have is I can't scroll over Gual. And the game CTD when i try to play a battle. Custom battle doesn't work either.
I'll try to install it in RTW folder, not sure if that'll help.

Re: Install trouble
It should be RTW root folder.
i mean, your rtw should be like "C:/program files/Activision/Rome Total War".
you have to install IBFD directly in this root folder.
it will automaticly create a subfolder that will be "C:/program files/Activision/Rome Total War/ibfd". then start the game from the desktop shortcut and enjoy.
