I've set up a region for us - Total War Center.
My nation is the Constitutional Monarchy of Ferrets54.

Nah, all nations are in the same world, this is just a local region. I think once the region becomes a certain power/population we get to elect a UN delegate.Originally Posted by scheuch13

The Holy Republic of Scheuch13 is a tiny, economically powerful nation, renowned for its complete lack of prisons. Its hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.
The small, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Defence, Social Welfare, and Religion & Spirituality. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 3%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Woodchip Exports, Pizza Delivery, and Basket Weaving industries.
Crime is a serious problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Scheuch13's national animal is the dauschund and its currency is the kluge.

The current system is unfair since it disadvantages agressive/militaristic nations so there's not really a lot of point.

You get put into a random region that corresponds to some place on Earth. For example I started in the North Pacific. Click your region, and there will be a link to move to a new one.

Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The large government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Healthcare, and Social Welfare. The average income tax rate is 26%, but much higher for the wealthy. A large private sector is led by the Basket Weaving, Door-to-door Insurance Sales, and Furniture Restoration industries.
Crime is moderate. Jagwires's national animal is the hyena, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the reeses.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Defence, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 74%, and even higher for the wealthy. A healthy private sector is led by the Book Publishing industry, followed by Trout Farming and Automobile Manufacturing.
Naturists are jailed regularly for indecent exposure, only fully-fledged members of MENSA are allowed to vote, almost half of the child population live rough on the streets, and small businesses are gobbled up almost daily by corporate giants. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ekdonia's national animal is the turkey, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the kobi.

It's not that complex, could have more options to shape your nation.

well seeing that were all conquest oriented, i think we should gang up on new areas. someone find a competing forum group we can go to war with.
