QUESTION: Campaign Gameplay Options

I am new to this wonderful looking mod and was wanting some clarification on the three option choices under Campaign gameplay, and what exactly they do if I choose one ie. a)ALL FACTIONS1 - OSTRO HORDE, b)ALL FACTIONS2 - OSTRO SETTLED, c)SHADOWING - SPAWNING ON.

What if I do not choose any of them?

all listed options have a default, in this case, it is b) ALL FACTIONS2, so if u do not choose any of the three, t is option b that is installed by default
