    Default Calvary charge into rear

I'm using the legion 3 mod. I have to enemy surrounded on 3 sides then charge into them from the rear with 2 generals calvary....and they dont rout. I thought it might be fluke so i tried it many times and it seems like they never rout unless it is a really bad unit.

EDIT Its been awhile since I've played rome but i dont ever remember it being that hard to rout units, even if they were elite units.

It sounds like you are having a lot of unit problems with this mod.

What are the stats of the general's unit, and what are the stats of the unit your hitting? Find out and be precise so I can decipher what's going on.

Remember, to make a full charge, the cavalry has to get into formation, stop, then make the charge.

You can do this, by running them into formation where they need to be (behing the enemy) and before they get there shift-click on the unit you want to attack. They will completely reform on the first waypoint, and then automatically charge the enemy.

When they charge, they will approach the enemy at normal speed until they are in charging range. When they get in range you will see their spears lower, and they will charge. (It's cool!).

That is how you know you did it right.

Yeah I forgot that in rome you have to stop units completely then charge otherwise it wont work (How dumb....). I've been playing Med 2 where you dont have too...
