    Default Cinematic Editor with TLR?

    Hey All!

    I'd love to get the Cinematic editor working with TLR launch file. Has anyone been able to do this? If so, what do I have to do to get that lovely editor working?

    Thanks!

    Oh, of course! How silly of me! My error, friends! Didn't mean to keep the knowledge all to myself!

    First, you create a .cfg file. Just open a new notepad (.txt) document and put in this:

    Medieval2.exe @cin-ed.cfg

    That's all you need to put in the document. Then save it as "cin-ed.bat" (it's important you put the .bat extension on your saved file.

    Now, you make another notepad document, and put in all of this:

    #-------------------------------------------
    [audio]

    disabled = true

    #-------------------------------------------

    [camera]

    campaign_map_smoothing = 1

    default_in_battle = default

    fov = 75

    move = 30

    restrict = 0

    rotate = 10

    #-------------------------------------------

    [controls]

    campaign_scroll_max_zoom = 30

    campaign_scroll_min_zoom = 30

    keyset = 0

    minimal_ui = 1

    #-------------------------------------------

    camera = camera\

    #-------------------------------------------

    [debug_display]

    no_unit_cull = true

    #-------------------------------------------

    [cine]

    show = 1

    And you save this file as "cin-ed.cfg"

    Now, there is only one more step. In this new "cin-ed.cfg" file you just made, there is a line under [replay] that says File=C:..... In this line, put in the replay file you want to see under the cinematic editor. So, for example, I have a movie called "awesome" in my Long road Replay folder. So, I would put in: file = C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\The_Long_Road\replays\awesome.rpy

    And that's all! Every time you want to see a particular movie, jut open up the cin-ed.cfg file, put in the name of the replay you want to bring up, and launch your new "cin-ed.bat" file.

    If you guys have any questions, please, let me know. I hope this was clear enough!
