Problem with Bastards
Hi there. Great modding done here, but i got one problem: I play Russians for 7 Generations (about 1200 ad). Now in the 8th generation from my first 8 sons there were 7 of them bastards. I will accept 1 or 2 of them, because that sounds real. Is there a chance to fix that with a remove_trait command, because I enjoy the bloodline feature (--> I do not adopt generals either).
Thx for helping me

Yep same problem in my campaign - although I'm not entirely sure how it works.
My general marries a princess - they have a baby - the general dies fighting, and the son is a bastard. That's fine yeah - but down the line, perhaps a generation or two I'm getting the same title.

Re: Problem with Bastards
after your post i look at my family tree - and you are right. when daddy married a foreign princess or inbreeds, then 3 out of 4 sons are bastards. Daddy musnt even have died. can anyone fix that prob or has the right remove_trait command please??

Re: Problem with Bastards
Use the anti-trait...
Select the general whilst he's outside a city, and then type:
give_trait this BiologicalSon
You may have to do it a few times, or you may need to type in the trait BastardSon (i've noticed that sometimes when you type in the same trait it removes it).
The "this" relates to the selected general and negates any reasoning behind typing in their full name...
Also, if they don't have the royal bloodline trait, try give_trait this Royal_Blood_English (Portuguese, Scottish, French, etc...)
