Default [M2TW AAR] The Struggle for Independence

    The Struggle for Independence
Scotland is a proud nation there was no constant struggle to survive and no Knights to kill. It was Peaceful.

The English came like a storm killing and murdering as they went we took up arms and were ready to kill.

We defeated them sometimes but these were in capable lads who had no experiance.

Now their king is ready to strike only courage can and steel can stop him.

Uhh....it's a scottish flag and some picture of knights, none of them scottish or english (judging by their helmets). Oh and some poorly written and utterly incomprehensive text with no actual AAR connected to it. I don't get it.

No need to troll him, although I admit, your text is usually a bit more comprehensible (is that a word? ) bomberboy.

    The Battle of Inverness

The English advanced on Inverness Instead of going straight to Edinburgh.
The battle began when the English attacked our force of Pikemen defending the road to the city.

We began to take losses but they did too.
They then sent infantry who began to storm the pikes.

Our lines buckeld under arrows and blades.

    To be continued.

    (continue)

The longbowmen were inflicting huge losses on our men.

Then reinforcements arrived they had Knights with them too those on foot took casualties by arrows.

The Knights attacked the longbowmen and routed them.

    Then the infantry routed.

Finaly the entire army routed but many brave soldiers on both sides died fighting for a war that never should have been declared. But after that battle we had a new hope and would set about to liberate the entire country and rid it of the English.

I have noticed that you have about 3 AAR's running atm, bomberboy, so please don't take this the wrong way..
I think you are "Stretching your line to thin" if you get my draft... No one is ever going to stick with one of your AAR's if you keep on starting another one every second week, and you need to add so much more meat to this thing.. One line for every picture isn’t enough imo. You got 10 pictures and 11 lines of descriptive text, you see?

    Meeting of the Clans

After the battle of Inverness. The king decided to gather, all the clan leaders in a great meeting. There was much resentment, among the clans but the king made a speech. "My Friends we face a dilema. The English have invaded our lands, and taken many cities but the Battle of Inverness showed, that they are not invincible. United we are strong but weak if we are not. So take up the sword and together we will rid the English all those in favour say I", called the king. All the clan rulers stood up and shouted I.

Then the Grand alliance was formed and with one goal. Independence.

    The River Clyde

The Grand army led by King James arrived, at the River Clyde, and camped there for three whole days. Then an English army apeared, just across the bridge.

The two amies moved into formation.

    The Scottish army consisted of:
Infantry armed with swords, axes, pikes and claymores.

    Archers and Catapults.

    And cavalry.

    The English army had:
Lower quality infantry armed with Bills, swords and spears.

Knights armed with polearms and swords with deadly longbowmen.

    And the formidable English cavalry.

The English began to cross, the bridge with out,the cavalry to help them. When they were,a couple of yards a way,the archers fired. "UNLEASH HELL" were the words said by the King. They were carried out.

Many fell to the fire that was unleashed two scots were burned too.

But the English lines charged despite the fire on them.

The first Knights arrived and hurled themselves bloodthirsty into the fray.

Tbh, and dont take this the wrong way, but compared to your other ones this sucks...

    You really need more descriptive text. Like;

"The two amies moved into formation".

    You could have put;

"The two armies form up either side of the bridge, squaring off to each other. Each General roaring inspiring words to enbolden the men, the men yelling and shouting insults to their counterparts. Curses filled the air like flies round a lantern, and men's blood boiled with a fighting fervour"

And you don't really need to include huge screenshots, if any at all, when you're listing the troop types.

And ""UNLEASH HELL" were the words said by the King"?? you don't SAY unleash hell to all your men, you usually roar it. eg '"UNLEASH HELL" roared the King. The men were all too happy to oblige'

And yes, your punctuation does need some work.

I'm not saying I'm an expert at this sorta thing, I'm just giving you some constructive criticism
