La Sicile de la mer(M2TW Anno domini Sicily campaign)

It is the summer of 1080 ad and our objectives have been layed out for us. Before we begin let me introduce the royal family and associates.

Roger de Hauteville is the model king. He is Pieous, chivalric and smart. Infact he recieves so many compliments about everything he is sometimes overconfident in any place apart from the battlefield. He believes strongly in eliteism and the Sicilians right to be the ruler of the seas. As of yet this has caused him no trouble but I can only hope it stays that way. At this moment the Pope holds him in high regard

Simon de Hauteville attempts to be like his father in most respects but has turned out to be decidedly average. He still has the intelligent tactics of his father but lacks the charisma and charm and has never cared much for religion. He goes to church but has never really taken in anything the church has said. Roger likes him but still finds that he thinks that he is much better then Simon although Simon has never really been smart enough to pick up on it. Simon is good at reading strangers but never those close to him. He too often lets his feelings cloud his judgement.


Nicolas Mauclerc although never having hit anyone or touched anyone harmfully himself is allways a warmongering. He is quite violent in his disposings of Mohadmists especially considering the amount present in Sicily. He is allways pressuring the King to act more harshly towards Islam but the King is usually afraid this may spark riots. Even still Sicilies policies are rather harsh on Islam much to Nicolas's liking. Nicolas's personality has also won him much favour with the Pope. Nicolas is overall a very charismatic and strong person who has few flaws.
