    Default Hello, Fellow TLR players!

    I've started playing this mod for about a week or so, and before i downloaded and played it, i read the wik info about it, and i thought wow..
    Anyway.. now im on my 70 turn on the HRE campaign VH/VH.. and i think its kind of tame, nothing really happens, its almost like; i spend my money and click 'next turn', and the armies is so damn small, and the population is kinda very small too and not very realistic.
    But otherwise this mod is very nice!
    I was wondering if it's possible to give make game even longer, like making 4 turns/year?

    If you want a real challenge, play as a faction like the Turks or Moors on VH/VH as the Turks start off at war w/Byzantium and as the Moors the pope loves to call crusades on Cordoba, as well as having to deal with Spain Portugal and eventually Sicily.

    Its very simple to mod it to 4 turns a year find the Desc_strat in your THe longroad/Data/world/maps/campaign/imperial


    scroll down a little and change timescale to 0.25 (note that family member still age two turns per year, don't how to change that )

    Now its 4 turns a year.

    Also you can change the end date as well, I put mine too 1900 (so I have something like 3600 turns to conquer the map... enough )


    Torn is adjusting AI to be more aggressive for next release. Personally I think the Byz have it the hardest, what dealing with Sicilians, turks, jihads, Mongols and sometimes Hungary.

    you need to teach the computer that each turn is a number, it advances the years by a winter turn, then it ages everyone by one year, so summer winter is the cycle, and everyone gets older, now its spring/summer/autumn/winter, and everyone gets older, so you need a script telling it on what turns to make everyone older, winter being turns 4, 8, 12 and so on.

    You could look at Marcus Camiulius 4 year mod for an idea of the script structure and layout, you can then add traits per season, so winter movemnt rates cut by 75%-25% depending on skill of user in winter, moarle down in winter or whatever takes you fancy. then there is also on teh guilod a script generator for creating the basic script, you input the umber of turns you want and it creates a script for that length of game, thats also would be usfull to look over, look in tehnmod downloads section for that mod.
