processor VS price
A quick question:
I am buying an alienware laptop for gaming (naturally), and I have narrowed it down to two models. both have more or less the same stuff, but the main difference is the processer.
the cheaper comp (Aurora™ m9700) has an AMD Turion™ 64 Mobile ML44 2.4GHz 800MHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache
the other (Area-51® m9750) has an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7400 2.16GHz 4MB Cache 667MHz FSB
the difference in price, of an already expensive computer, is about 400$ US.
Do you guys think it is worth it?

Re: processor VS price
The core 2 duo will wipe the floor with the turion but at $400 more that is definitly a rip off lol.
Why are you buying an alienware laptop? There is nothign special about them except they charge you alot mroe than it's worth.

I think you would be better off with a Dell XPS.

Have a go at customising either the M1710 or M2010.
