greetings, fellow M2:TW players. first I would like to address my lack of activity with the Cuman AAR. this as due to an annoying graphical bug.
I will have nothing holding me back playing as Scotland, so I will play as them.

Chapter 1: Rise of the Highlanders. Summer, 1080, A.D.

King Malcolm placed him head in his palm. He was indeed growing old, and his heir, Crown Prince Edward, was a brave commander, and no less than a genius, but he was cruel, and merciless. He preferred his second son, prince Edmund, to be king, but he could not take away Edward's divine birthright.
He called the royal advisers and his sons together at his royal court in Edinburgh, where he was about to tell them his ambitious plan to reinvigorate the kingdom.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

King Malcolm: "My sons, and trusted friends. I have gathered you here today to tell you my plan to reinvigorate Scotland. You all know, our kingdom has definitely seen better days. We almost took over Norman England a few times!"

Crown prince Edward: "Get to the point, father, I have not the patience, nor the time required to listen to your old war stories." He said in a impatient voice.

King Malcolm III : "Very well, I shall get about our business. As you all know, Inverness and Berwick have rebelled against our rule, no doubt the work of a few turbulent lords."

Patrick MacDougall(diplomat): "Sire, what about the English! No doubt they are poised to assert their control over all the Isle, and the Highlands are just another nation on their agenda."

Prince Edmund: "Sire, I will volunteer to go and try to reason with the lord of Inverness. Perhaps he will reconcile, and combat will not be needed. If this English threat that Patrick speaks of is true, we will need to seek the aid of everyone we can."

King Malcolm III: "My loyal servant, Patrick MacDougall, you must go to Ireland and seek the aid of the royal court of Munster. they are our first immediate ally against the English, no doubt."

Patrick Macdougall: "Yes my lord, I shall journey to Ireland at once." He scurries off.

Crown Prince Edward:"These rebels only answer to one thing, Force. I will lead the main army to Berwick, for a speedy victory, while my brother wastes time trying to reason with the count of Inverness-shire."

King Malcolm :"Very well, my sons, Godspeed!"
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edward, and Edmund leave the court , and gather their soldiers to venture to opposite ends of the highlands.

Edward Immediately Besieges Berwick, showing a "no mercy" policy, while Edmund tries to reason with the count of Inverness-shire.

King Malcolm's royal Architects also began a vigorous road network operation, which was scheduled to be completed within a year, depending on weather conditions, and available workers.

Patrick MacDougall continues his journey towards Ireland, hoping to gain an alliance, and trade rights.

After an uneventful year of building, and diplomacy, the King receives alarming news. Edward had attacked Berwick without orders, and he had killed all its defenders, and looted it.
