    Default 77 BC 2: playing a Roman campaign without missions

    As the experienced players of 77 BC 1 already know, this mod was designed to make the Roman player follow the historical expansion of the Roman Republic in its last period. Just in case that you want to play freely but still enjoying the added scripts of 77 BC, we have prepared another script file. Here is what you must do:

    - Once installed the mod, start a campaign and test that it works. Just in case

    - Now quit the game and download the file attached to this thread

    - , open the 77bc directory and open the folders scripts and show_me. There are two files there:
    * Marcus_Camillus_4TPY
    * No missions script

    - Rename the file "Marcus_Camillus_4TPY" to whatever name you like (for instance, roman_missions_script). Forget about the file "No missions script".

    - Copy the file that you have downloaded to the 77bc\data\scripts\show_me
    folder

    - When you run the game, the new script will be loaded with no missions for the Roman human player.

    - By the way, I do not think that it is advisable to change the script files and then try to load a campaign that was saved with the former script.

    Does this still allow you to play as Ceasar when he appears?

    Hmm, doesn't work for me... it won't let me launch the script (can't click on the 'show me how' button)...

    I must confess that I made some last time changes to the file that I did not beta test as it was apparently a quite simple issue. I should have known better .

    Let me give a look at it and as soon as I solve the problem I will upload the file again.

    My apologies.

    Edit: Solved and file attached to the first post. A missing end_while was responsible for this problem. By the way, thanks to CA for the error message telling me that the problem was located at the last line of the script. That was REALLY helpful
