    Default Tips and guidance

    Hey everyone!!
I have just found this mod - it looks great, everyone involved should be very proud of themselves.

Trouble is, I'm rubbish at playing LOL!

Can anyone give me some tips or guidance?

So far played as Saxons & Franks.
I don't seem to be able to get my settlements to make money to be able to construct better buildings and recruit more men.

My towns grow (sometimes), I'm told I need to upgrade buildings etc but I have -income so can't do that and then the people riot etc and it all go downhill fast!!
The way I am playing at the moment is to be a nice neighbour, make alliances and set up trade. Should I be more aggressive?

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to respond

Personally i have had limited play with the barbarian factions (i play ERE) but i guess the same strategy should work to some extent. The best strategyto build your economy is to get trade rights from all neighboring factions, build trade buildings etc. Also be very aware of the size of your army as military is usually the biggest budget eater. If you have excess armies either disband or atack an enemy settlement to lose a few.

I recomend you become more agressive at the beggining, but only go to war with one faction at a time
