Icon5 Names of towns and citys

Well I was playing the new mod SPQR and saw a town named Lol in the campain, is there some way to change the names of towns?

I've been looking around RTW files but I don't see anything that I can change the names.

And I was playing Greek after 3-4 turns I saw it was 263 AD, is it not supose to start 215 BC like others?
Would like help from this too.

For the names you moust change the entry in the preferences.txt file (its in preferences folder) from EDIT_SETTLEMENT_NAMES:FALSE to EDIT_SETTLEMENT_NAMES:TRUE, then you can simply change the name in the townscroll.
As for the year, you simply forgot to activate the script.

actually for the script, you'll need to start a new campaign coz if you forgot to activate it after loading a savegame even once, youll start to experience thee bugs. look at the sticky threads. there are instructions telling you how to activate it.

If you change settlement names, the script WILL NOT work... The original settlement names are hardcoded in the SPQR garrison script and it will not recognise them

If the date is earlier than 215 BC than your game is spoiled and you should start a new campaign. This happens when you do not activate the script every time you load your saved game

btw @beikon welcome to the forums

If he makes the same change to the garrison script it will work, but he has to work on it, it's not easy! It's a text file you can open with any text editor.
