Default Playing Old Games on an XP

I'm looking into getting all the pre-Blood Money releases of Edios' Hitman titles...firstly starting with the original - Codename 47.

Now, it's a game that requires Windows 95/98/ME. Will it work on my Windows XP? I can't ever recall having problems with other non-XP games like Diablo I & II (95/98/NT/2000 for II), Shogun: TW, and the like.

Should I not have any trouble with this non-XP title? If so and there's a special way to run old games on an XP how can I?

Most early games work fine with XP and any that don't usually have patches to help. Also, this new set will land you two of the early titles and a preview of Kane and Lynch.

If it dosen't work you can simply run it in compatability mode for win98/2000 by right clicking on the shortcut, goign to properties and then compatability.

If you want to run even older games use a DOS emulator, such as DOSBox. Works brilliant!

Yeah I saw that Hitman Trilogy came out...the only thing that's stopping me from buying it though is that I already own Blood Money for the 360. I'm more interested in picking up Codename 47, Silent Assassin, and Contracts - all of which I found for less than 6 bucks online for the PC, I just wanted to make sure that before I buy Codename 47 that I could run it on my XP.
