Default Trying to change Egyptian portraits

    Hello,

I'm using Rome: Total realism platinum edition version 1.9. As I'm sure most of you know, RTR replaces the default Egyptian General portraits with Greek portraits. I would like to change them back to the default RTW Egyptian portraits.

I actually accomplished this in RTR gold but it doesn't seem to be working in plat. Here's what I do:

    unpack mod_0.pak.
replace Egyptian general portraits and cards with the defaults.
change mod_0.pak to a txt file.

Doing this, I get some of the default Egyptian general portraits, but others appear blurry or have buildings in their place. RTR adds more general cards then default has (187 compared to 84). I tried replacing the additional cards and portraits with copies of the defaults as well, but still receive the same problem. Anybody have any idea what's causing this and how to solve it?

I noticed it blurs the portraits whether I replace the RTR Egyptian portraits or not. Seems it's the setting mod_0.pak to a txt file that causes the problems. Wonder why it reads it fine in pak form but not unpacked.

I'll try to help with this once I'm home and have access to my RTW/RTR files. I may not have time to get to this until this weekend though.
