    Default I don't Understand some of these changes

    For example...knights don't have the "well armored" trait anymore like in vanilla. Milan's elite cavalry the famle whatever...are a lot worse than they are in vanilla. In vanilla they are better than chivalric cavalry but not in your mod. I just don't understand why changes like that were made...i've been playing your mod for soo long I forgot what the game is actually like lol

    it's this whole belief that the Calvary units are too powerful. Perhaps true, but perhaps it should be. As long as the gameplay continues to be top-notch, i don't care.

    Units only get the well armoured trait if their armour value is above a certain amount. The global - 2 reduction to armour and +2 boost to shields puts more emphasis on rear and flanking charges as units are now weaker from the rear.

    that makes sense but in the vanilla version...milan's elite cavallry have better stamina than chivalric knights and in 2.3 i don't think they have any stamina...kinda makes them useless...not to mention their stats are worse also. I decided to look into this stuff because i noticed norman knights have the same stats as feudal knights and i thought norman knights were supposed to be reall good infantry.. I found out it's the same in vanilla though...they just ain't that great

    Well Familia Ducale(sp) have a heavier mount so will tire quickly, BUT the heavier mount gives their charges more impact and more devestating.

    And yes Norman Knights/Feudal Knights have simialr stats, but have different mounts.

    Familia Ducale with your mod have the same charge as chivalric knights and neither have the "powerful charge" trait. Sry about bugging you lol it just kinda makes me mad when their cavalry are supposed to be good and they really aren't as good as i feel familia ducale should be

    If you read my post again:

    Well Familia Ducale(sp) have a heavier mount so will tire quickly, BUT the heavier mount gives their charges more impact and more devestating.
    The mount is seperate from the unit attack and charge values and yet it can have a big influence on the charge. If i can recall correctly armoured horses have a mass of 4/4.5 comapred to 3.5 for the barded horses used by chivalric knights. That .5/1 difference in mass makes a big difference in the charge.

    So basically what you are telling me is...there are units in the game that are better than they seem because there are factors involved with how good they are other than their stats?? ...interesting...

    1 Last thing....why don't france have their french mounted archers?? and their dismounted counterparts?? i also don't think they have their mounted noble knights.
    Personally i think they should have never of put units in custom battles that are not in the campaign because then i think i have something I like and then I go into the campaign and I never get it. Although the french thing i think is your doing lol but CA put men at arms/broken lances/chivalric knights everywhere and alot of those factions don't even get them...not to mention gothic knights.

    I put back France units in Garnier mod.Next week I will try to put back all missing units, just tell me what units are missing.

    I believe Lusted removed the french units equipped with longbows simply because they never utilized that weapon.

    Well firing longbows from horseback is infact impossible, and i don't think France needs the dismounted version.

    And i think the Noble Knights are missing in 2.3 but should be in 3.0.
