    Anyone personally own a Tablet PC? Can you give any feedback about them?

    Also I would like to brag about the deal I got. There is a $470 off special on them right now, but I managed to take off another couple hundred

    Heh,I just got a T4220 and wrote a review in the TabletPC forums. Love it, the only problem is that RTW doesn't support the Pen. Also got a great deal with a discount from Newegg, 200$ off.

    Mines a little older but it has:
    Dell XPS Gen 3
    3.4 ghz chip
    2 gigs memory
    160 gb hard drive
    nvida 7800gt gpu
    DVD rom
    DVD burner
    and still runs great.

    I don't game anymore, so the lack of pen support in RTW doesn't phase me (notice no dedicated graphics card or optical drive on my build).

    @Preston and HMonk
    Those aren't Tablet PCs. Tablet PCs function like laptops but you can flip the screen around and fold it down, then use a pen to write directly on the screen. You can also use the pen to navigate the desktop (touchscreen monitor).

    The T4220 only has an Intel GMA card, but it's good enough to run Rome and some older games. One reason I got mine instead of a Lenovo was the long wait time for the X61.

    I have Windows XP on mine and it makes excellent use of tablet features. Handwriting recognition is a bit iffy sometimes though. For more info on tablets check this.

    I just ordered yesterday so I won't get it for awhile. Someone else will have to field that question.
