Problem with my russian campaign!!!

Ok so here's the deal the game just CTD's when I get to the year 1350 with Sicilian Vespers, I remember seeing something that helped with my problem, and it was something to do with the file that the game is in, so my game is in: C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War!!!!
The game just quits and goes on the "Medieval II was forced to quit do to an unknown problem"thing

Do you have any patches installed?
It also might be the mod, but I doubt.

Well I have the 1.2 patch

Do you know if the mod runs with 1.2?

And did you run 1.2 over 1.1?

No just the 1.2 patch that's all, I reinstalled it yesterday though but i reinstalled all the necessary files.

Can you upload the system log?

And I take it that you can't recover from a saved game? Does It CTD's in the same place after loading?

Well my saved game is in the year 1352 and it CTD's on the egyptian turn so I'm not sure what to do!!
But I saved it on the turn before it CTD's

I think this may be a problem trait problem, where a nameless character is acquiring a trait.

This problem has been fixed in 2.1.

I will put together a fix for you, but it may not be save compatible.

So i assume you have provided the soundfix already? ... which is due with every non-english M2/SV version ... look at the stickied topic about it.

If it is a character with a blank name, this should be very rare. I would save often, and keep a few save files. If it is this problem, you should be able to get around it my going back a save or two. The autosave will most likely not work.
