How can I edit the game

Hi Im new to the modding and I have a few questions

1. Is there anyway that I can edit the campaign map and change what armies get what units.

2. How can I edit what civilizations get certain units.

3. How can I change the generals faces for different factions.

Thanks alot this would mean a great deal to me if I could get some help

1.Go to the descr_strat file which is in your world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign folder and you must change the units of the armies
2.go to the export_descr_unit file and change the ownership,this will make the unit available in custom battle
go to the export_descr_buildings and change the ownership there too
3.go to descr_model_battle and change the General skin of the Unit

it would also be a good idea to
-edit the the descr_model_battle.txt so your civilization will be assigned a skin and sprites
-to add the unit cards (found in ...data/ui/units) to your civilization

and for

3. How can I change the generals faces for different factions.

I interpreted the qustion in a different way, I thought u were referring to the character portraits (what u see when u click the family member), n w/c case u have to replace the ui pics in data/ui/roman/family member/young and old and dead... a fairly laborious process...
