Whacky display problem

Hello, I just downloaded SPQR v6.4, and as soon as i loaded the game my screen display flipped 90 degrees counter clockwise. I am on a laptop so i have to turn my computer sideways to play it, which is really awkward lol.

I went under options and toggled the "widescreen" option, when I did that, it didnt change anything. I edited my graphics options on my computer to not allow monitor rotation, and rotation hotkeys do not work while playing the game.

My laptop is pretty old with outdated....everything, but it runs the game smoothly otherwise. Does anyone know how to fix this?

i have a laptop too. and if everything is outdated then everything is the problem most likely ESPECIALLY your gfx card. how old is it exactly?

yeah then everything is the problem. you don't need to buy a new one unless you can uprgade your Processor, sound card and graphics card and add some more RAM to it. if you do need to buy a new pc i suggest getting a desktop unless you absolutly need a laptop.
