Gaulish campain

Am wooping some serious foreign butt as Gaul's, load's of wonga, goto luv them gold mines, france and spain r mine, stopped them pesky romans in north italy, nice little empire.
1 Would like some advice, firstly wot should a gaulish army consist of, i use 8 chosen swords, 3 hvy spear, 4 archer, 3 skirm, 1 cav. 1 general. Any "iron man" rules or historic formation advice would be nice.
2 Where should i invade nxt and why? Is there any sort of exotic unit I could recuit when I conquer a provice? Any historic lands the Gauls may have had an interest in? Or maybe a city/faction for a good hard scrap?

I doubt barbarians would have any uniform makeup for an army. However, Chosen Swordsmen and heavy spears would definately make your army nasty. I say four units of cavalry at the most and two units of forester warband.

I say take on rome as far as Genua and Arminium. Other than that, your surrounded by other barbarian factions that would probably eat you for breakfast. You could take a stab at Britannia, reclaim the ancestral territory and all that.

Not much else I can say, not a fan of the Gauls right now.

Mod is designed for Rome, so its no surprise you are kicking butt, I suggest to anyone playing other factions especially Barbarians to play on Hard or VH to have any challenge.

In order to make the game more of a challenge for the roman players Hence the name ROME total war, I had to make it easier for the AI factions playing the other nations.

Dont get me wrong, it aint been easy LT. I just fancied a change and haveing just intro'd asterix and oblex into my 3yrs old sons life i couldnt resist playing them. However i will start a Roman campaign soon, and look forward to reporting my demise then. Hope that keep's you happy, Biggbudd.
