Default A question on the cities in the campaign

hi, firstly id like to say good job with the mod looks great, i realy like the way you have done your towns in the campaign. I was wondering how you did them? Ive tried making the same type for the eastern cultures but dont know how to get the model working with the skin. Im not sure what i need to edit.

What im doing is just making a new eastern skin and going to use it with the greek town models etc. but im not sure how to put that skin with the model please help??

    thank you

Well, that's a project that could get you a job!

Here's the deal, in "(RTW)\data\models_strat\residences" you'll find the .cas files that are used with the textures. The textures are in the 'textures' directory in that same folder.

You may note that Prometheus altered the .cas files for the Roman and Greek cities, and the textures are named 'prometheus_this' and that. The .cas files just find the textures if they're in that folder. Sooo, if you wanted to alter the Eastern texture, you would just name it 'eastern_large_city' etc. There is no text file that tells them what to use, they just 'DO' it.

If you succeed, I'd like to know. Prom never finished the Eastern, Carthage or Barb models...it would be nice to have something new and original.
