Fewer Crusades
I realize that this mod starts the game in 1180, after the 1st and 2nd Crusade. I am playing Byzantium and notice little western interest in the Holy Land. I've seen a few Crusades launched at Moorish North Africa, but none at Jerusalem, in either 3.0 or 3.1. Is there a reason for this, or is it just random? More often than not, Crusades seem to be directed at an excommunicated faction.

Re: Fewer Crusades
i recall something about havin X% of religion being christian or something like that, in order to send a crusade there.
that is more probable to find at an excomulgated faction or one that has been attacked by christian priest.
however, in my campaign a lots of crusades are being head towards cairo and the such, deep egipt lands, where i doubt any sign of christendom has ever shown... anyway, holy lands are 100% islamic and are not being targeted for crusades yet.
maybe some crusades can be scripted, but it might be hard to programe it so it comes from a livin faction, and they dont happen just while other crusade is ongoing, etc etc etc..
but also it might be VERY easy to program a "augment christendom here" type of quest, that is usual to be had from the pope, but to a lot of factions at once, and headed towards the holy lands. this way, there would be a constant priest attack in the area after some time, and this lands would become available targets to crusades.
