Possible to have more than 4 children?

Was looking at descr-camp db and saw this....

<max_number_of_children uint="4" />

If this # is changed, is it possible for a woman to have more than 4 children?

hm, no i rememeber: i tried that with 1.1, but think everything worked well - however, i'm not sure...

I didn't figure it would work too well. After all, there is only so much space on the "character tree" screen. I'd prefer the # be a bit higher, and that it be more reflective of the nature of the two parents, rather than a reflection of how many cities you own.

i tried to make it "12" but for turns 0-60, even if i've conquered aberdeen, inverness and dumfries as the scots, and even if my prince and other son got married before turn 5, i've had no offspring. that's 30 years of having no offspring. the two sons of my king were already 50 years + and still no offspring. my king's 70+.... (i changed old_age back to 60) im going to fail the game if they all die... :o

again, i tried max_number_of_children uint "9" and got to 60++ turns without offspring. i guess the game doesnt really allow you to have more than 4.

Its a shame this can't function properly. Given the randomness of the death mod, having more than 4 chances to get some quality offspring would sure help.

exactly what i was thinking, buddy. i played as the scots and its like a sniper was up in a building picking off my family members in the field one by one by one. i think that was the 1st time i saw the game over screen. lol. anyway, if this cant be done, im moving up the old_age... come to think of it, i already did. lol
