Don't mean to hijack a thread or anything, but I'm having a similar problem at 242 BC. Tried reloading and restarting the comp entirely but it happens every time.
Well, it depends on what is going on in the AI turn. Do either of you have the "follow AI turns" option turned on? This option lets you follow AI movements that are within sight range of your troops or characters. Doing this helps prevent some of the Loyalist revolt problems that have caused CTD's for some people.
Also, you may have suffered from a corrupted savegame file. Its a known problem with the RTW/BI game engine that occurs occasionally. The best defense against it is to save often, say every 5 years or more often if you feel you need to. This way you can go back to a previous savegame from before the CTD and start again from that point.
Barring either of the above, I will need more info to see if your problems are due to problems with RTRPE v1.9 itself. Here is some info to start with...
What install version are you using (i.e. regular install or mod switch install)?
What mods other than RTRPE v1.9 are you using?
What faction are you playing as?
At what point in the turn is it crashing?
Did you do as requested and install RTRPE v1.9 into a fresh RTW v1.5 or BI v1.6 install?

First off, thanks for the quick reply.
I was playing with "Follow A.I. Turns" off. I'm new to mods entirely let alone Rome Total Realism, so I didn't know any better for that.
To answer the other questions -
- I'm using the regular installation
- I'm not using any other mods
- I'm playing as the Romans
- The crash occurs as soon as I hit the End Turn button. Literally as soon as I hit it I'm at the desktop.
- I downloaded and installed the mod right after I installed Rome: Total War and Barbarian Invasion off the Total War Eras disc.
If it ends up being something that just happens occasionally, thats fine by me. This is a great mod and I appreciate the time you and whatever team you have put into this. I just hope I wont have to come back with the same question at around 66 or 67 BC.
