(moved to vote) Invasio Barbarorum for Team Opifex

CdeC supporters: Belisarius, Aristophanes, rome ac and Garbarsardar

I would like to nominate the Invasio Barbarorum team for Opifex - the team has created a historical accurate and fun mod for BI - and has (accurately) been refered to as BI's RTR. The mod changes almost everything in Barbarian Invasion and has been extremely successful.

I have spoken to the team leader Ramon Gonzales y Garcia and he suggested that the folowing team members should be put forward:

Ramon has lead the team and done huge amounts of work, Riothamus has created a independant sub mod called Rios IBFD which uses many IB's resources but requires a seperate install. Mylae has created virtualy every building in both mods as well as contributng to other mods. Hans Kloss has been the main BETA tester and bug fixer for several months as well as doing other jobs.

For the sake of being honest I would like to say that I did provincial campaigns for IB last year and therfore my conclusions on IB will be greatly affected by what I have seen then.

The team has worked extremely hard and I believe that they deserve the same recognition as the chivalry TW and FATW teams have been given.

I assume that you have just become a citizen - take a look at the consitution - the CdeC is a commitee which controls who is and isnt a citizen - one CdeC member needs to back this nomination in order for it to be put to vote.

Members of the Consulum de Civitate, they are a pannel that votes on who gets promoted (eg, to Citizen, then Patrician, and also Opifex and Divus) and who does not, part of your patronisation process would have involved writing a paragraph to the CdeC to tell them why you deserve citizenship.

i'd point out that each member of the team has to have the support of a CdeC member. team Opifex awards are just a simplified way of awarding lots of opifex all at once. Its not being awarded to the team its being awarded, individually, to the people listed. If you want to award the team as a whole, raise them a triumph.

But can one person back every member? - that would effectivly be the same as backing the team.

yes, one person can back every member if they so desire... or they can just back some of them. i can think of at least one previous Opifex award where i supported some of the candidates, but not all of them

I fully support each one of the members proposed. IBFD/Rio consistently has improved and expanded incredible modding with very orginal features and loads of detail -- modders are always friendly and supportive to all players! Great stuff.

Just to be clear, I support Ramon Gonzales y Garcia, Riothamus, Mylae, and
Hans Kloss for Opifex.

out of personal interest, why is everyone posting that they support? its an entirely meaningless post. only the CdeC can support an opifex nomination to go to a vote.

a) because its a impressive mod

b) they are signalling that they will vote yes if it goes to vote

yep, as above, we know that support is not officially relevant, hence number of people saying btw I'm not CdeC. But you can't post to say which way you voted in the vote forum so this is only area for 'discussion' / visible support.

A lot of other support posts are technically meaningless, eg after four supporters are gained.. people still like option to show if they agree or not.

(It also bumps thread till more of the limited number of members currently on CdeC notice it)
