    Icon10 Lads, Please ROME !!

This game gives a GREAT oppertunity to create a PERFECT ROME MOD,
from the birht or ROME and up until its BARBARIAN INVASION.

I dont know how, but "threw scripts there can be barbaric rebels and so to keep the Roman Empire at a struggel".

Even when enough states are conquered Scripts can allow you to devide ROMAN EMPIRE into 2 states like happend in history /BYZ).

Oppertunities are many, and Imagine how the barbarians now could look?

It is, but it's not being done.
I suggest you look for the Gathering Storm mod in the hosted mods section.

But its still far from completion. May take another few months or so.

Up to a year more, I'd say. Even so, it has spectacular progress and it will be interesting to watch.

I would love to see the same thing....270 BC to whenever....I could never really get into Barbarian Invasion, because I didn't like starting so late. I'd love to get the chance to build my own empire, basically from scratch, starting with the struggle with Pyrrhus. See if I can keep it intact against the the 4th century AD Germanic Invasions. I've always wanted to see how ...say....the Seleucid Empire might fare against the Huns.

I have a list of factions that I think would work for that kind of mod.

    How about this?

    Civilized States
    *Bactria
    Carthage
    **China
    Greek City-states
    Iberia (renamed from Spain)
    Macedon
    Numidia
    Parthia
    Ptolemaic Empire
    Roman Empire
    Seleucid Empire
    Thrace
    Pontus
    Armenia
    *India

    Barbarian States
    Britannia
    Dacia
    Gauls
    *Marcomanni (Germanic)
    *Picts (Celtic)
    *Saxons (Germanic)
    Sarmatia (renamed from Scythia)
    *Teutons (Germanic)
    *Visigoths (Germanic)
    *Frisians (Germanic)

    * - Added factions
** - Just for fun (some of my friends were wondering what it would be like if the Romans and the Chinese faced off, since both armies are similar in many ways lol)

Wait, did someone say there was already a mod like that being made?

Iberians would be more of a barbaric faction. I'd prefer mutiple factions of the Gauls; it keeps them from harassing Rome early on in EB, and thus keeping them in the game much longer. Factions like Bactria and Numida should emerge if certain conditions are met, much like the Ostrogoths or Romano-British in BI. Granted, these conditions would occur in most games, especially those in which the Seleucids/Carthaginians are computer controlled. Multiple factions in the barbarian nations of western europe would add a lot to the game. Problem is they'd field virtually identical units, so probably wouldn't feel very different for someone playing them. One thing I've yet to happen in any mod that I've played for RTW is the Parthians emerging as a power. The only mod I've ever faced them in battle in (as Rome) is the 77 BC mod, which comes after the end of the Seleucid Empire. I've debated many times about this in various places, and believe something simply must be done to give this faction, one that resisted the Romans in various forms until 628 AD, a chance to take their place among the "powers" the typically emerge in every game (Ptolemaic Egypt, Macedon etc)
