How to bring the torches back ?

Hello!

I am playing total realism with some adds on installed. I removed the torches in night battles by the special add on. Now i want to have them back. Is this possible without the reinstallation of the whole RTW + Platinum? For example by some correction in any text file ? ?


P.S. I would be grateful if someone would explain this to me in very SIMPLE words since i do not have a good command in computers.

if you have bi installed copy files that are in
...\Rome - Total War\bi\data\models_unit\attachments

to ...\Rome - Total War\data\models_unit\attachments

or if u have mod-switch version of RTRPE to
...\Rome - Total War\RTRPE\data\models_unit\attachments

This does not say much about the problem to me. As I said I am a computer ignorant. What am I to do with what to fix the problem ?

Maced0n did help you, by telling you exactly what you need to do. But if this is beyond your skill level, then it looks like your only alternative will be to reinstall everything in a fresh RTW v1.5/BI v1.6 install, this time not installing the "no torches in battles" add-on. I personally don't use it, but it was asked for by several people.

i had the same trouble with banners, i just reinstalled everything.

I think you have go to into the folders, and copy stuff from the BI files into the RTW files, the ones the other guy specified.
