SPQR 6.4 Download

Howdy,

I just recently have been trying to download the SPQR mod but the links don't seem to be working for me. Possibly I'm doing something wrong but if not just bringing it up in case the links need to be fixed.

I assume its because Lt. is uploading the fixed version, that removes the spartan hoplite CTD.

Its updated.

The New version have the SPQR loading screens added Plus the MERC Spartan fix so no CTD happens with them. All in one complete package. ;-)

It took me 4 attempts to upload the 221mb file without it being corrupt. lol Then I needed the host to download it and then upload to the download site. So the 4th time worked. But at 5.6k upload speed it took me 4 attempts at 11hours each to get it right, so I accept your thank you. ;-)

I seem to be having trouble installing SPQR. I have even gone so far as to uninstall RTW and reinstall & then patch it up to 1.5 (starting 1.3 then 1.5 of course.)

I do not have BI installed atm as the requirements only stated RTW 1.5.

I will admit my screwup though, after reinstalling and trying to install SPQR I forgot to run through the prologue. I have since then done the prologue then tried deleting the SPQR files and reinstalling but I am still having the same trouble: when I start up RTW it's still just RTW, not SPQR.

Any input would be appreciated!

Its installed in the wrong folder, You probably have a different folder designation than the one included with the .exe Its the normal default path, but sometimes people have their games installed in another directory or even another drive besides C drive. Check and see where you Game is installed and then make sure you manually pick the Folder to install to. The Installer allows you to do this.

Where specifically should SPQR be installed? The default path it has for me is C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War. Does it need to go into the Data sub folder?

You may have to install directories. someone else here did. To be honest look through the threads for answers on install issues. You will probably find your problem and solution already. It took several posts before the one guy installed in the right directory. He had 2 of them. If you install the mod and yet Vanilla RTW is still there then its installed in the wrong place, simple as that.
