im thinking about getting the 7950 GT because most people are saying that it can beat a 8600 GT?

You don't need to keep makign new threads, we have already said that the 7950GT is the most powerfull 7000 series card. But buy a radeon x1950pro because they are cheaper and almost just as good anyway.

If you’re going to buy a video card from this generation do what Doono says and get an ATI card, there give the same performance as the NVIDIA card but you can run HDR and AA at the same time which you can’t do on 79xx.
