HELP MEEEEE!!!!!!!! ( graphics cards)

ok i have found many graphics cards ranging from the 7600 gt , 7950 gt and finally to the 8600 gt.....ive been trying to figure out whether i should get the 8600 gt , but some people say it is not worth it....the 7950 gt i wanna get , but im having trouble finding a 7950 gt for around $150 , would a 7950 gt work with a 350 W power supply?

well im getting EXTREMELY confused whether i should get the 8600 gt or the 7950 gt (if anyone can find a $150 , 350 w power supply 7950 gt)


and can someone tell me if a 8600 gt is more powerful than a 7600 gt?

and one more thing has anyone here had experience with a 8600 gt..is it seriusly as bad as everyone says or is it a good graphics card that can play half life 2 , Medieval 2 , Battlefield 2 , Company of Heroes...and good stuff like that

It's better than a 7600GT but most of the cards of the 7 series higher than that are better than the 8600GT in dx9. And 350w power supply dosent really tell us anything you need to discover the amp's on the 12v rail/rails it should say on the side of the power supply. If it's soemthign like 18-20 amps you should be ok for a 7950gt but i would be very surprised if the powersupply that came with a dell was a quality one.

And don't look for a 7950GT for $150 because you wont' fidn one, get a x1950 pro it's more than a sufficient upgrade.

Edit: They have this 7950gt at $159.99 after the rebates but i would still get a x1950 pro
